McLaren driver Lando Norris retained sixth position at the end of the Sao Paulo Grand Prix.
Norris was given a EUR5, 000 fine and a warning for going on an extra warm-up lap despite the traffic lights indicating that drivers needed to remain on the grid. At some point, the race management considered it reasonable to announce an additional warm-up lap to all teams.
The stewards also called out Mercedes` George Russell, who received the same penalty.
RB riders Yuki Tsunoda and Liam Lawson escaped punishment for the same offence. The judges considered that the pilots were reacting to the actions of Lando and George.
